Almost Forgotten Forget-Me-Nots

Chinese Forget-Me-Not Cynoglossum amabile

There they are! 
Sweet blue forget-me-not blooms
remember,
warm spring days,
sun on your face
and the scent of moist dirt
in beds full of flowers.
I really do think
it must be spring.

    Yes, one of my favourite perennials we’ve had for over 30 years and they always surprise me in the spring. Pull back a bit of dead leaves and there they are, as if waiting to be found again. 😉
