Inheritance

A pocket of nature
filled with birdsong and beauty,
fresh air and wild life,
where unconditional love is planted
and nurtured,
where respect is harvested daily
and where dreams grow roots
and thrive,
a much more valuable heritage
for our children and grandchildren
than all the gold
or possessions
we could have accumulated.
