Lap Quilt in Progress

Eldest daughter is working on this Dresden Plate lap quilt for her grandma’s 100th birthday in May.  Still trying to choose the colours between the squares. It’s going to look beautiful when it’s finished and mom will love it.

Board and Batten Completed – Three photographs

Celebrating tonight, the cabin is finished.  The batten makes such a lovely finish on the cedar boards.  All cut from a tree that’s been lying in the woods for years.  Talk about repurposing.  Very pleased.

The long strips of braided fabric are now sewn together into a rug, around and around, adding more strips until the rug is the size you want it to be.
