Creeping Jenny

Creeping Jenny (Moneywort) Lysimachia nummularia.

Heritage creeping perennial. Hardy ground cover. Nearly evergreen. Easily divided. 6-12” high. Spreads rapidly by runners, forming a ruffled mat 1” deep.  Found it growing in the ditch along our road.  Someone must have dumped their garden waste there years ago.
Leaves: Penny shaped bright green. Roots at nodes, trails to about 2’
Flowers: bright yellow blossoms 1” or less most of the summer.
Pollen may cause allergic reaction.
