I Run To My Garden

When the world out there
makes no sense at all,
when evil grows stronger
as innocents fall,

when freedom is license
and greed is the rule,
when games teach our children
more than their school.

I run to my garden
where healthy plants grow
and find simple truths
how we reap what we sow.
