Culphea Ignea ‘Vermillionaire’ Cigar plant, fire cracker plant

I had this plant on our front step but the deer kept eating it.  Now it’s blooming happily behind deer netting.  Unfortunately the hummingbirds can’t get to it but at least we have some flowers.
