“. . . characterized by a strong interest in nature, a revolt against the neoclassic adherence to rules, forms and traditions, a marked preference for individualism. . .”
We met in the 70’s, pooled our resources and bought five acres of woods where we carved out our lifestyle with a Swede saw and some old gardening tools. Apologetically cutting as few trees as we could, we built our small home in the centre of a mushroom ring and moved in on Valentines Day, 1976. That was 40 years ago! We’re still here, still individuals and still valentines.

Thank you. We’re a little less romantic than we were back then. We bought ourselves wood mill to celebrate instead of flowers. But that in itself is romantic because it’s not a cliche, right? 😉
