Wild Flowering Currant

Thi This is a wild flowering currant, the only one surviving of four we transplanted from the power line over 40 years ago. It comes back every year.  Love it!  Means: “You please all.”

Dressed In Pink

Kolkwitzia is closely related to Weigela.  Amazing scent I can smell all over the yard.  And it is deer resistant, which explains why it is 7 feet tall and still growing.

Pink Poppies

These pink poppies popped up in the herb garden. I guess I must have planted them but they were a nice surprise.  Lovely soft pink atop a fragile looking stem.
