Corkscrew Willow Tree

Willow Salix matsudana ‘Golden corkscrew

Deciduous Tree. Golden foliage on twisted golden branches.
Fast growing to 25’ tall, 25’ wide.
Heat and drought tolerant.
Likes full sun.
Fertilize with all purpose fertilizer in early spring and midsummer.
Maintain moist but not soggy soil.
From Hisnibs for my birthday 2016.
Planted up by old pond by the road, where we cut down an old cedar and alder and then needed something to fill in the gap.
Means: Sadness

Yes, it is a willow but instead of weeping it twists it branches into corkscrews. 🥹
