Rosemary

Rosemary is viewed as a symbol of love, fidelity, and longevity
Many people believe that using rosemary and keeping some sprigs under the pillow aids in sleeping and keeps the negative thoughts away.
Placing a rosemary garland at the entrance of your home, you can keep away the negative energy.

In ancient times, students used to place rosemary sprigs on their heads when studying. Many Greek scholars also wore rosemary garlands on their heads during exams. They believed that it sharpened their memory. It is believed that rosemary increases the blood flow towards the brain which in turn increases concentration.
It is also believed to work as an anti-inflammatory agent so people eat it with meat for improved digestion.

Rosemary can also be viewed as a symbol of remembrance. In many cultures, people place rosemary sprigs in the hands of the deceased as a sign of remembrance and respect.

I like to nibble a little bit when I walk past my rosemary. I also nibble a leaf of sage
which is so very good for you.

You are very welcome. We too have a large plant near the front door. I’m going to
make a wreath with it to hang on the door. I usually have a bunch hanging somewhere in the kitchen.
