
Diamonds on the walkway, pearls upon the tree, jewels glisten all around, I am as rich as I could be. No one owns these diamonds, though real, they're magic too, they come and brighten winter days then very slowly melt from view. Some people step upon these gems their beauty seldom know, but I am rich, my world is bright As long as winters' cold winds blow. ©Sharron R. McMillan
