Every time I drive along Redroofs Road,
I slow down at the same curve in the road
to get a glimpse of the waterfall.
Its beauty ever-changing
never ceases to warm me,
cause me to murmur a reverent thank-you.
It reminds me of love,
changing daily.
Sometimes fierce and surging,
other times simply a gentle trickle,
but always there and always lovely.
There to warm one's heart
and cause a stirring,
if one would slow down long enough
to see it.
