This large willow tree was growing under the power lines along our road so it got cut down during the annual clearing under the lines. Just look at all that regrowth! Makes me want to be more like a willow, thriving in spite of what’s happened to it.
I think most of us had damage to our roots in the early days and we have thrived – and maybe even strived – possibly due to that damage. I think we are like the willow tree. We took some major chops and challenges in life but “picked ourselves up! Brushed ourselves off, and started all over again”. We have the tenacity of dandelions! ❤️❤️
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8 ❤️❤️❤️
I love that verse. A promise and a reality. 😉
