Peace Angel

I want to be a peace angel.
to stop hatred, greed, war,
stand between bullets and children if need be.

This world needs more peace and more peace angels.

When anger seeps in, stamp it over with peace.
When prejudice erupts, be the one to speak up,
give more than the benefit of a doubt,
give belief, encouragement,
love and acceptance.

Give, don’t take.
Show how good generosity feels.
Demonstrate how to say thank you,
or sorry,
and mean it.

Be at peace within so you can be light enough
to carry peace where and when it is needed.

Be a peace angel here.
Now.
There is no time for later,
no more information needed,
only time to speak, dream,
live, breathe peace.

There is good reason
why we are still here –
to live peace.
