Bathing Away The Blues

Rain, wind, cold.
I fill our antique claw foot bathtub
with hot lavender scented water
and submerge my body
and my thoughts.

Gratitude
for clean, safe water washes over me
and I pray for those not as fortunate
in our world.

Everyone should have clean, fresh
water to drink
and bathe in.
How hard is that!
