Empty the laundry hamper – catch up, get it done.
Deal with procrastination piles – finish or get rid of what you know you’ll never finish.
Clean the house – a very important year is arriving. De-clutter, Recycle. Start fresh.
For every new gift you put away, give one old item away – Freely receive, freely give.
Buy new toothbrushes for everyone.
Throw out all the unidentified objects in the back of the fridge. Wipe it clean.
Start the new year owing no one. Pay all the bills with grateful heart that you have all you need.
Get out some board games to play or a puzzle to work on, something to drink, snacks to share
and be thankful for those who want to spend ends and beginnings with you.
Have a happy beginning of another year.
Well I got one load of laundry done and the bathroom cleaned, then eldest daughter asked me to come for a walk
in the snow with her so I chose walking in the woods with hisnibs and eldest daughter to cleaning the house. 😉 Tomorrow. . .

I did wipe out the fridge and finished the laundry. The rest will wait for me – it always does! However, I would love to start each new year fresh. My Japanese friend puts several days apart to clear everything as you say. She will not take into the new year anything that is not truly wanted or needed and no mess. I do admire that – and you for your ambition! Happy New Year, dear friend!

Better to start and not finish then not to start at all. 😉 Blessings for 2022

Love that… going to get started, not much time to getter-done. The last part is a little hard for me, but will endure😁
