Maple Trees On Our Land

Here’s a lovely stand of Maple Trees at the back of our acreage.
I’m just beginning to see and appreciate them now that the trail is winding through them all.
The new green leaves and soft moss on their trunks make me feel safe
and surrounded by a hug.
At least we can still hug trees these days.

We knew there were maple trees at the back of our property but we only saw them from a distance, now we can
walk under them. Lots of baby maple trees underneath them too. It could be a Maple Forest in a few years. Tapping Maple syrup is a science, with a very short period of time after a freeze when you can do it. We’ll have to study up on it and maybe start making our own syrup one day. 😉

You’ve got a Maple farm, and didn’t know it, maybe you did. Get busy, maple syrup isn’t cheap, and so delicious 😋
