If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit,
for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to the man.
All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth.
~Chief Seattle of the Suquamish Tribe, letter to President Franklin Pierce

Thank you! I’m reading a book right now “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Such wisdom passed down over many generations. Wisdom I wish I had inherited but I can still learn from it.

Chief Seattle had so much wisdom. The connection the Indigenous People have had with plants, animals, birds, and the environment is, to me, so much more spiritually awake than our own connection (or disconnection). I believe we will be having to do reconciliation with nature if the planet survives that long. Love people like the “Nibs” who honour nature and respect it and treat it as a loved friend!
