    His nibs gave me a large jar of silica for my birthday. You put the flower into a sealable container, cover it with the silica and leave it five days. Pour off the silica and voila, preserved. I should have done it sooner as the edges of the rose are browned a bit. Now i know how to do it, I’ll be preserving lots of flowers come spring. It is fragile, paper thin.
