Anniversary Celebration During Covid (4 photographs)

Anniversary Celebration

Usually we celebrate our anniversary by going out for dinner or staying at our favourite hotel in the city or Harrison Hot Springs.  But covid restrictions voided any of those plans this year.  Hisnibs has been working on finishing our little cabin in the woods so we decided to give it a trial run and celebrate our anniversary in it.
Our kids put a bouquet of carnations on the table, meat, cheese, pickle trays and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge as well as a bowl of Jelly Bellies and homemade Creme brûlée! A cozy handmade afghan had been added to the couch.  There were lovely touches everywhere.  This has been one of the nicest celebrations we’ve had in our 43 years of anniversaries.  We didn’t have to dress up or go anywhere, just walk down the winding path to the cabin.  Like celebrating inside the hugs of those we love.  Thanks family.
