Gossamer Web

Like delicate lace,
So the threads intertwine,
Oh, gossamer web
Of wond’rous design!
Such beauty and grace
Wild nature produces…
Ughh, look at the spider
Suck out that bug’s juices!”

  3. I am always amazed how the spider does that….there is a ledge, 3 feet away there is a chair on the patio and between them is a huge spider web, so how does he suspend himself midair to do that?

Yes they do. It’s hard to not walk into them in the woods this time of year though. 🕷
