When I shut my studio door
I lock out the woes of the world
for a few hours.
I’m looking out
to a sea of ferns,
surrounded by cedar, alder and maple trees
sanding tall, straight, unafraid.
The world has not changed,
beauty still surrounds us,
new fawns still appear,
baby squirrels still streak across the path
and the dawn chorus
still stirs my heart
to what remains –
life, beauty, and a future.

Yes, we know that is true. Where evil abounds, Grace abounds Much More. . .
Beautiful photo and beautiful thoughts! Mother Nature will prevail and good will win over evil. xoxox
