Bitten by an octopus

Octopus

The day we went out for prawns there was a small octopus in the trap with the prawns.  Hisnibs reached in the get it out of the trap, it curled all of its tentacles around his wrist and bit him on one finger.  He said it felt like a needle.  When he threw it back into the ocean it sent out a cloud of ink.  No after effects from the bite, thankfully

Yes, he was pleased, not many people get bitten by an octopus! 😉 He has also been stung by a jelly fish.

We wondered that too. One prawn was headless so maybe he had a bit of a snack while trapped. He could have been attracted by the smell of the bait I guess.

Do octopus eat prawns? Was that why he was in the trap. Or just octopus curiosity 😮
