It’s very satisfying turning a bowlful of ingredients into four lovely loaves of bread. And then to slather thick slices of warm bread with butter and raspberry jam and devour them. Hard to stop at one slice though. We had two each. My favourite recipe is from the More With Less Mennonite cookbook. A simple white bread recipe to which I added whole wheat flour. Might as well make four loaves when you have all those ingredients out anyway.
