The Best Tree Yet

The best tree yet

The Christmas lights were our nephew’s,
he passed away this year.
And many of the handmade bits
bring memories or a tear.

We hang these treasures on our tree,
so that we’ll not forget
the precious people in our life.
It is the best tree yet.
