This large bush is a survivor. We planted three rhodoes in the 70’s. One was driven over by a camper van, one had a tree dropped on it. This one survived and though the deer seem to stomp part of it every year, it still produces beautiful flowers.
A good Companion for azalea and holly.
Deer proof unless they stomp on them, which they tend to do.
Poison if ingested.
Meaning: Name from the Greek: rhodos – rose, dendron – tree.
Flower: Danger, Beware
