Thankful Morning In My Studio

It’s that glow,
the indescribable golden colour
dancing in small holes of wood stove door
like sunrise through peepholes
and the harmony of crackling wood
with rain drops on the metal roof
makes me sigh
almost bursts my heart with thankfulness.
I am here, in my happy place
I am thankful
I am.
