Catching Up With My Cousin

Last time we saw each other, we were little kids.
Now we’re big kids
who still love to talk, laugh and enjoy good food.
Finding my cousin and getting to know her
is one of my most precious adventures so far.
The same blood runs in our veins,
there’s a connection there
that time nor others selfish choices can destroy.
So happy we found each other again cuz.

Yes, she does look like you and is like you in many ways. Guess that’s why I feel so comfortable with her. Lots of interesting mom stories we can identify with. 😉

My cousin on my mother’s side. Our mother’s became estranged in the late 50’s and we lost contact with each other. Just reconnected again recently. My cousins live in Alberta, we’re in BC. It’s hot here but we’re having fun adventures together anyway.
