Nosebleed

alder blood

Life blood flows out mouth, nose
into soaked red rags,
bleeding my future, clotting my past,
scaring me into solitude.
Who wants to be around bleeding hearts,
sad mouth breathers
who can not help themselves.

It’s stopped.
Throw out the rags, forget the fear,
breathe deeply of oxygen and beauty,
I’m still here.
