Oranges Are Ripening

Our indoor Calamondin orange tree is happy to see the sun and has produced quite a few nice little oranges.  I used one grated in the cranberry sauce I made for Easter dinner and it gave wonderful flavour to the sauce.

I pruned it early and it seems to like it’s new haircut. More oranges on it than we’ve had before. Something to be said for pruning.

That is a very healthy looking orange tree. I used to love the smell of the blossoms when I had one back in Toronto. Good idea for the cranberry sauce. Yummy!
