No High Tech For Me

Nope, not going there.
I like paper and pens and ink.
I like holding real books
and using all my fingers to hold and move real things.

I’m happy with my laptop, old LG flip phone and a land line.
We like watching movies on Netflix on our computer.
We like email and blogging.
That’s about as connected as we care to be.

Bigger isn’t better, it just takes up more room and time.
Faster isn’t better either
because it cons me into thinking I’m actually getting more done
when in reality I’m a slave to buttons and beeps.

Nope, not for me, thanks anyway.
And when I write my book it will be a real hard-cover copy
and I’ll mail it to you from Canada Post.
If they still exist then.
