I know
what day it is today.
I thought I’d forget
But there seems no way.
A part of my life since the day I was born,
July 2 is the day to think of Lorne.

We’ll no longer count up the numbers
with candles or cake or fun
but today I think of you,
just like I’ve always done.

In memory of my brother.
