I worship God with each breath I take
My heart sings praises every moment of every day
I offer a sacrifice of praise when my heart won’t sing
Life is no longer divided into sacred and secular
Everything is sacred.
Towhees unearth food in dead leaves
tit wrens sing their cheerful morning song
frogs fill the air with music
periwinkle climb the front stairs
miniature daffodils bloom along the trail
elk graze in the woods
fountain bubbles serenely in the yard
all sacred
all wonderful parts of a sacred life.
