I have 40 years of primroses around our yard, at least all the ones the deer didn’t eat. 😉

What a nice tradition! All my goodies have to be indoors for awhile yet. It will be after Memorial Day–really into June actually–before I can have anything outside without being brought in at night. Enjoy your pretty flowers! I’m envious for sure!!

Yes! Valentine tradition, I’m given primroses to plant out. Some years we could only afford one pot, this year I got a whole flat. They are cheerily looking in the window at me until I can decide where to plant them. Deer love them so we put netting around or plant them where the deer can’t find them. I’m thinking a plot in the fenced off orchard might be a nice spot for these ones but for now I just want to enjoy their cheery colours at my window.
