A theory is still only a theory
no matter how many years it has been taught,
quoted, explained or expounded upon.
Until proved or disproved
a theory remains
a theory.
So science seems to be spending its time
trying to prove or disprove theories
rather than teaching and explaining
what is known,
what is truth,
what has been proven by great thinkers
over the ages.
Let the theorists argue to the death
what has not and may never be proven
but science –
Science is the study of what is,
what can be.
Sounds like there is enough
to keep a world of scientists
busy enough.
That’s my theory anyway.
