Rose Campion, An old cottage garden plant of southeastern Europe.  From the Greek lychno for lamp because the flowers glow.  They are attractive to butterflies and are drought Tolerant.  The leaves were used as oil lamp wicks. The seeds are culinary & medicinal, used to stuff herbal pillows.
