Red five-year diary
then small blue drawer,
one tidy album
now many more,
shelves in the attic,
words out pour,
file cabinet,
one,
then two,
four drawer.
Now I find I’ve filled a room
whole studio,
from roof to door
soon I’ll be
contained no more,
than I will rise
and I will soar.
