Life is uncertain when you live in the woods in fire season.  One careless cigarette can cause acres of damage.  There is a forest fire burning less than ten miles away and we can smell the smoke when the wind blows this way.  Walk the trails, ride your bike on the logging roads, enjoy the wildlife, but don’t do anything stupid that could affect everything you are now enjoying.
