First Paddle of the Year

Beautiful sunny day. We loaded up the kayak, some snacks and headed out for our first paddle of the year.   And our first paddle in Sargeant Bay.  Low tide of course, so our morning exercise was dragging the kayak across the rocky beach.  A wonderful four-hour paddle along the shore, across the bay and along the opposite shore.  We saw eagles, seagulls, seals, tiny crabs scurrying amongst the rocks and a few other paddlers, all enjoying the last day of May.
