Ivory flower buds flushed with pink appear mid winter and open to outward facing blooms that last all spring. Petals streaked with green and backed with a warm rosy shade. Blue Green foliage.
From my daughters for Mother’s Day eight years ago. It has faithfully bloomed every winter.
In the Middle Ages, people strewed the flowers on the floors of their homes to drive out evil influences and they also blessed their animals with it.
It is, fortunately deer proof.
Nice;)
