Living Simply – Friends

Most of our friends make more money than we do because we have chosen to live simply.
We do not have a “poor me” attitude but suggest alternatives positively. Our friends understand and enjoy our company whether we have money or not.  So we suggest going out for breakfast or lunch or a good cappuccino and dessert rather than an expensive  dinner. We invite them over for wiener roasts or pot luck picnics.  Sometimes friends will treat us to a meal in a fancy restaurant and we reciprocate with a home-grown, home – cooked meal or high tea in our garden.

No meal could be better! Who would complain about fresh from the garden salad and homemade bread. Plus you are sharing how to season life with simplicity. Bravo. 😉

When my friends come to visit, I serve them what I have made from my kitchen. Mostly simple things…like homemade bread with a bit of salad from the garden. They have yet to complain :~) mari
