Teenagers now, too cool for play,
ignore what once they loved
and my new studio in the woods
has replaced the writing corner up there.
So grandma’s attic is once again
a place to store things
along with all those memories
soaked into the walls
of that precious space
at the top of the ladder.

Thank you, yes, well said. Some things are way more valuable than money. 😉

Love both, the words and the picture. Some things with no material value have a world in them.
